New website

Wow!  A brand new blog for a brand new website!  My new website coming into fruition feels (almost!) like new baby being born! Raffaele Malanga designed my original website back in 2001. This makes it practically antique in website terms.  At the time, I found Raf’s own website which he had done for his degree show at Central St Martin’s. It was a beautiful website and stood way above all the other websites I’d been trawling through. Even though my head told me to go with someone who was experienced and whose websites looked like more standard fare, my heart and gut instinct told me that this was the right designer for me. He ‘got’ me and what I wanted and made a fabulous website. Over the years many people have commented on how peaceful and helpful it feels and how good it looks. I’ll be sad to say goodbye to it actually. I guess I was probably one of Raf’s first clients! Now – 12 years later, Raf’s got his own graphic design company – Far Studios –  and is designing some very whizzy websites.  When I checked out what he has currently been up to, again, my gut instinct was to go with him and it was this reaction I again followed.

Listen to your heart and gut instinct.  It is this voice which will make the best decisions about WHAT to do.  Then listen to your head about how to do it.
