| Warmth. Love. Eating . Giving. Family. Laughter. Receiving. Drinking. Relaxing. Fun. Children. Merriment…… Yes! All of this – and more -is what Christmas is all about. Isn’t it?…I hope that your Christmas is going to have oodles of all of this.On the other hand….
stress. rows. stress. trying to get it perfect. stress. remembering everything. stress. family ‘stuff’. stress. the logistics of it all. stress. who, what, when, why??? pleasing all of the people all of the time. stress. Stress. STRESS… And sometimes, or alongside, is sadness. At who won’t be there. Or who we won’t be with. Particular memories may surface. It may be that it just isn’t what it ‘should’ be or what others appear to have. Christmas and the run up to it can be a particularly difficult time. |

All of us know that there are some, including ourselves, for whom sometimes the contrast between what’s being advertised and displayed everywhere and actual circumstances couldn’t be greater.
